Main Responsibilities:- Sales & Budget activities controlling production, raw material, personnel budgets- Production mgr. and Technical referent for Italian Plant (40hc)- Production mgr. referent for Indian Plant (1.200hc)- Indian plant auditor for Quality/Costs/Deliveries/NPD- OE Customer Technical account

I coordinate all technical service functions in Turin HQ such as Metallurgic Laboratory, Metrology Lab, Engine Testing, Valve Prototypes and Valve Actuation Prototypes. Responsible for internal validation testing on all major programs and for the production of engine valve and valve actuation prototypes. I provide leadership on a large team of skilled technologist and coordinate all resources of different Labs to meet expected goals and to support internal/external Customers.Other responsibilities/competencies:• Coordinate a team of 50+ highly skilled technical people;• Facility mgr functions through the supervision of a young and talented Facility Engineer;• LOTO Champions and deep involvement other EHS categories.Main Results:• 500+/year Lab technical reports issued• 40k+/year prototype engine valves produced• Define layouts and transfer of Labs in new site• TPM maintenance of testing equipment

Responsibilities/competencies:• Lead a team of 10+ Materials Engineers and Technicians to provide group level materials engineering support to Product Development Engineers, Current Product Engineers, manufacturing plant personnel, customers, and suppliers for Vehicle Group products including valves and valve actuators.• Support the development and test new materials, make material recommendations,• Perform failure analysis for Vehicle Group applications during development and production• Write technical reports (1000+) and material/product specifications • Maintenance of ISO/TS16949 certification of Materials Engineering Lab• Supervision of internship Materials EngineersMain Results:• Capex and budget defined and accomplished• Hollow Plug laser welding specs issued• 10k+/year VA prototypes assembled and validated
