Aiming to avoid similar outcomes for other patients and providers, she compassionately sheds light on the impact opaque hospital cultures have upon grieving families. As a consultant, Vonda guided several Twin Cities citizens in creating a vision, mission and strategic plan for Northland Bioneers Conference and forming the 501C3 organization Northland Sustainable Solutions. She oversaw operations for 2006 and 2007 Northland Bioneers Conferences and designed the event which highlighted: zero waste strategies, participant interactivity, 80+ sustainability workshops, strategic partner forums with representation from the cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, green-for-all exhibits, community dialogues on environmental/social/economic matters, and entertainment. Vonda oversaw a $75,000+ fundraising campaign and supervised alliance formation with 160+ organizations. Under Vonda’s direction 130+ volunteers were recruited and trained.

Executive Produced and Managed Target and Marshall Field's internal television networks. Developed existing staff to seek and maintain significantly increased levels of excellence. Restructured financial and administrative systems to maximize cost-center management. Modeled and integrated a collaborative approach to account management, which considerably increased and improved alliances between network and internal Target Corp. clients. Directed managers to produce 120+ internal television and video trainings per year; live and pre-produced. Directly managed budget of $1M.

Produced corporate communications utilizing video, satellite television, live meetings and print. Managed creative development and production for clients: Target Corporation, 3M, BI Performance Services, Lynch Jarvis Jones, Gage Marketing Company, Instant Cash Services, and Motive Action. Managed small business operations. Integrated the 4 R’s (Rethink, Reduce, Re-use, Recycle) into production practices. Gained approval for paying higher rates for recycled purchases. Supervised and trained contractors. Oversaw total client budgets of $2.5 M.

Instrumental in defining the live television visual merchandising field. Set trends that became industry standard. Hired, trained and managed 30+ person staff for 24hr operation. Produced specialty segments. Stimulated an environment of innovation and operational excellence in a high-stress division. Reduced mis-airs by 36% through training facilitation.
