CurrentKey highlights: Led design and provided guidance to consultants to carry out/develop – final review of ASEAN haze-free roadmap, final review of APMS, ASEAN climate finance strategy, ASEAN 10years investment framework on peatland and haze; ASEAN State of climate change report, 6th ASEAN State of Environment Report, and established the ASEAN Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform, strategic revamp and develop ASEAN Haze Portal and ASEAN Environment Knowledge Hub. Led and/or coordinated to deliver key policies of ASEAN- annual outcome statement of ASEAN leaders in the environmental field, ASEAN joint statement on climate change, CBD, and BRS, the Bangkok Declaration on Combating Marine Debris in ASEAN Region, ASEAN Regional Action Plan for Combating Marine Debris in the ASEAN Member States (2021 – 2025), and the ASEAN Declaration on the Strengthening of Adaptation to Drought.- Develop, coordinate, and monitor over 100 projects and programs (20 partners and over 50 consultants/firms) in addressing environmental issues in the region. - Promote, strengthen and manage regional environmental cooperation in Southeast Asia for better environmental safeguarding towards inclusive and sustainable development. Areas of focus include air pollution, marine pollution, circular economy, blue economy, natural capital, climate change, urban, biodiversity, chemical and waste, and Transboundary haze pollution. - Provide strategic guidance and policy planning for ASEAN initiatives, projects and programmes on environmental cooperation and management including the private sector, industries, trade, and banking and finance. - Strengthen partnership and cooperation with partners and key players in addressing environmental issues in the region, including the regional resource mobilisation efforts. - Manage the operational activities of the division-sustainable development directorate; and provide guidance/support to ASEAN entities (Interim ACC THPC, ACB, AIGE, ACCC, ACEC)
