As head of a Business Unit, my tasks included the development of Altran’s business in the field of IT Training and Consultancy. This position combined a number of different roles:- New business development in a variety of sectors (energy, public, luxury, food, medical devices)- Account management of key clients, including Altran’s biggest Swiss client- Elaborate new products/services and the associated sales strategy, develop business plans and reports- People management : direct management of 14 consultants and back-office staff (planning, career plans, early evaluations, wages) - Recruitment of new team members Key achievements:- Successful management of a strategic partnership with Sun Microsystems: 20% of my workload spent within Sun sales team in order to develop training activities on different Java and Solaris products. Achieved to significantly increase revenue through organization of co-branded events, cold calling, mailings and customer visits.- Constant growth of the business and the team under control (BU Revenue - Y1: 400 KCHF / Y2: 1'400 KCHF / Y3: 4'000 KCHF)- Maintained a low staff turnover in the Business Unit (< 10%)- Implemented new pricing models & reviewed active partnership agreements, which resulted in a significant margin increase

Creation, development and maintenance of a project of laptop and equipment sales to students of Swiss Universities. This project, first of the kind on the French-speaking market of Switzerland, was developed with the support of IBM Switzerland.My tasks included:• Website development (e-shop) and integration of IT B2B solutions (suppliers, banks)• Organization of marketing actions in Swiss Universities: stall at Welcome Days, promotion of our products through distribution of flyers, etc.Total sales achieved of CHF 850’000 for year 2005.
