Currently, I am working at Simulytic managing and executing simulation-driven projects that assess the deployment risks of autonomous vehicles. My role involves the execution of simulations and the analysis of the results, highlighting the potential risks of the integration of autonomous technologies into real-world environments.Conducted my master's thesis on "Deep Reinforcement Learning for Autonomous Driving," culminating in a publication in the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC). My research focused on bridging the gap between simulation and real-world application by developing a path-tracking controller based on reinforcement learning, utilizing a digital twin of a vehicle and map to enhance the controller's reliability and performance.I studied at TU Delft and during my masters I carried several projects on machine learning and artificial intelligence, dynamics and control, and human-robot interaction. I received my bachelor's degree in Advanced Technology from the University of Twente. During my studies, I had the possibility to participate in an exchange at the Joint Institute of the University of Michigan and Shanghai Jiao Tong. In addition, I took part in the BSc. Honors program in the Philosophy track. I completed my bachelor thesis at the Surgical Robotics Lab (University of Twente) and I was awarded a 9/10. I also worked as a Teaching Assistant for the courses: Mechanics, Dynamics, and Fields and Waves.
