A versatile Psychology graduate from Deakin University who has multiple experiences in leadership skills and is equipped with effective communication skills, and computer skills such as video editing, graphic designing, data analytics, and presentation skills. Friendly, organized and adaptive are some words described by peers and colleagues.Voon is also a former Year 1 Representative of the Psychology Student Union at HELP University, who is responsible for the well-being of Year 1 Psychology undergraduates during his first semester. His friendliness has allowed students to approach him easily, which helps bridge the gap between students and the Psychology department. During his internship at AmBank Malaysia, Voon has multiple experiences in the Marketing and Learning and Development (L&D) sector in the banking and finance industry. As AmBank’s marketing intern, Voon was responsible for directing and editing AmBank's promotional and corporate videos to market the brand in the digital world. I have also created copies and designed social media posts, informative buntings, event posters, festive packets and print ads. Voon was also coordinating and tracking project timelines on advertising & promotional projects, campaign visuals and media plans to ensure the projects were completed on time. As an L&D intern, Voon managed training registrations and moderated over 30+ training sessions involving thousands of AmBank employees around Malaysia. He was also tasked to analyse big confidential datasets using Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot charts and tables to research employees’ responses and feedback on their training. During his final year, Voon was a Writing Mentor at Deakin University who helped students in different faculties understand how to unpack assignments and increase their confidence levels by actively listening to their issues and providing students with Deakin University's study resources. With his ability to empathize, observe peoples' behaviours and understand different perspectives, he is a team player and problem solver related to human interaction.
