Ke Yang Voon, was born and raised in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur. He moved to Singapore and pursued his Master of Architecture degree in National University of Singapore (NUS). He spent half a year in Tsinghua University (2009) during his Year 4 Student Exchange Program. He was nominated for the RIBA Part I- The Presidents Medals Student Awards in 2009. He was the president of The Architecture Society 30TH Committee in 2010. He participated in the 14th-ARCASIA student jamboree in Lahore, Pakistan. Over the years, he was actively taking part in several exhibition installations, namely (2007) Dr. Lai Chee Kien's "Building Merdeka: Independence Architecture in Kuala Lumpur, 1957-1966"; (2010) CONCEIVE: The NUS Architecture City Exhibition 2010; and (2012) Hong Kong Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale at Kowloon Park. Till date, he pulled off two solo exhibitions- (2013) “See You Soon My Views” and (2016) “The tales of knot after knot”.He has been actively involved in the architecture scene in Singapore for the past ten years. Since completing Master and Bachelor of Architecture at NUS in 2012 and 2010 respectively, he has been an architectural assistant at various practices including TERRE and CSYA. He is currently a practicing architect at DP Architects, involve in design and development of Healthcare Projects in Singapore. This background and training instilled in him both professional discipline and a global outlook on architecture.A flâneur - Ke Yang Voon is a keen observer who is acutely aware of the environment and its vernacular, and constantly seek new ways of seeing, thinking and doing. His love for travel and learning about other cultures has brought him to many countries across the globe.
