Quality Surveyor for Pressure Vessel, structure fabrication

- Responsible for Inspection related activites at Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery Complex- Looking after Inspection activities for erection and commissioning for CFP - Clean Fuel Project- Inspection of Pressure vessel, Column, Heat Exchanger, Piping etc.- Inspection of Raw material, welding, in-process dimensions, final dimensions etc. - Review of NDT reports- Prepare and submit Inspection Reports- Preparation of MIS and submission to higher management

Quality Surveyor, Inspection, Audit, Expediting

- Spearheading inspection and testing activities for Raw Materials, Structural Items, Pressure Vessels, Machined Parts, Job Components, Forged parts, Pipe fittings, First Article Parts.- Responsible for planning and execution of inspection activities at Receipt, in-process, Final & Dispatch Inspection stage.- Check & review Engg drawings, Plot Plan, Isometric drawing, Procedures, codes and specifications (e.g. ASME B&PV code)- Reviewing Test Certificates & QAP for material procured for Project.- Ensuring all inspections and tests are carried out as indicated on the appropriate Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).- Inspected various Heat treatments like Quenching, Normalizing, Annealing, Tempering etc.- Dimensional inspection of components on & off the machine using precision instruments and portable CMM (eg Faro Arm, Faro Gage) which includes Geometric dimensional inspection and 3D profiles.- Reviewing RT films, UT reports, PT records, FAT reports - Act as an NDE Level-II for the assigned projects. - Recording NCR’s (non-conformance reports) observed during Inspection and Reviewing corrective actions recommended in NCR, initiate and verifies corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of non-conformity.- Liaise with Customer Representative / Third Party Inspector (TPI) for the conduct of day to day quality related activities of the project.- Striving continuously to improve Quality using various QC tools and periodic awareness meet for vendors which helps for vendor development.- Coordinate & participating in Pre-Inspection meeting, internal quality review meetings, Tool box talk, Site Coordination meetings, Vendor quality review meeting etc.- Issue various MIS, periodic reports detailing inspection clearance and status of project- Process Auditor for internal & vendor works, Internal Auditor (ISO 9001:2008)- New vendor development and expediting- Active core team member in process of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) implementation

Knows the latest profitability estimate of the project and manages project risks actively.• Directs, evaluates, and develops a team of project personnel to ensure that projects are completed on-time, within budget and according to project specifications. • Liaises with other operational areas in the organization i.e. Design, QC, Welding, NDE etc. to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project.• Manages complex multiple projects simultaneously.• Develops and improves current ways of working of subcontractors and vendor by process improvements.• Responsible for planning and execution of inspection activities at Receipt, in-process, Final & Dispatch stage.• Take preventive measures as and when required• Analyze NCR’s (non-conformance reports) observed during Inspection and Reviewing corrective actions recommended in NCR, initiate and verifies corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of non-conformity.• Initiate milestone payments to the admin• Track and monitor the status of all deliverables.• Ensure documents are being submitted in accordance with client expectations and submittal procedures.• Coordinate & participating in Project Kick-off meetings, Pre-Inspection meeting, internal review meetings, Tool box talk, Site Coordination meetings, Vendor quality review meeting etc.
