Owner And Ceo
CurrentAs owner and co-founder of X/OS, I have worked on a large variety of projects, all related to UNIX/Linux systems software. From 1995 to 1999, I implemented and maintained the Linux kernel firewall code (kernel versions 1.0 to 2.0) and the accompanying ipfwadm utility. This work also included Linux' first implementation of kernel-level support for transparent proxying. From 2004 to 2008, I was the core developer of X/OS Linux, a rebuild of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux sources.Other projects include design and implementation of custom firewalls, honeypots, clusters (based on various cluster technologies), migration of office environments from WIndows to Linux, and automation of several system installation and administration tasks.Since 2006, I am also involved in the development of a Linux-based point-of-sale system for the hospitality market.
