I'm a recent graduate from the University of Southern California, majoring in Computer Science with a specialization in Game Development. I completed my Bachelor's degree at UC Davis with a Computer Science and Engineering major alongside a minor in Mathematics.One of my major interests lies in Game Development, particularly in the field of Serious Games. There is a common misconception in today's society that all video games are violent and as a result, are propaganda for violence. For me, video games simply serve as a powerful medium that can be used to raise awareness on several sensitive topics either through a focused narrative or through incorporating various unique gameplay mechanics. Additionally, I believe that video games have several applications in various fields besides entertainment. As such, it's my goal to develop a game that is universally loved and also raises awareness on a particular topic.A little bit about me: I'm an avid fan of manga and anime and the works of authors such as Eiichiro Oda and Makoto Yukimura have greatly inspired me to write my own stories. I also have a keen interest in doing volunteer work for various NGOs that focus on protecting the environment along with those that provide education for underprivileged children. I'm a firm believer of giving back to society and it is due to this belief that I've been able actively participate in several lake plantation drives and do whatever I can to protect the environment. Being a nature lover, I also enjoy going on treks and have been on several such treks all over India. I'm also a huge history buff as I believe that there is so much that humanity can learn from the past and improve upon it.
