Hello, my name is Victor, i am a fast learning programmer who wants to pursue a life in the technology and computer science industry. I am self taught and practice mostly in python using the django web-framework, I taught myself the python syntax and from there started using online resources and free courses to expand my knowledge. Not only have I taught myself programming, but I've also gotten a great amount of help from my mentor, Martin Owens, a freelance web-developer who frequented the bicycle shop I used to work in, after sharing a common interest in programming and computers we soon began to spend time together and since i have learned a great deal about computer science and programming, and continue to learn, from Martin. My hopes are to secure a position as a web-developer, be it full stack, front end or back end. I want to be able to work on a website and have my name on that site and be able to work towards further achieving my goal.My career goals are to secure a job working in the technology field, I want to use web development as an entry point and to have that skill to be able to secure myself financially so that i can work on my future endeavors. I primarily want to return to college so that I may continue my pursuit of a bachelor's degree and I would very much enjoy going further than just that. I have always enjoyed video games and I was taught that i should build not only a career but a strong base for myself and my future, I one day hope to move over to the video game industry, helping develop games and stories, not just coding, but all aspects of the design process and to build my own businesses. I want to build this businesses and help my community, to give back to my family and my friends and to live without fear, sending messages through engaging stories, creating jobs where people can grow and chase their dreams.
