We are a member association and networking community for individuals and organisations, dedicated to amplifying and advancing leading practice social value creation across Australia. Social Value Collective fosters collaboration, education, and innovation, grounded in uniquely Australian values.

Vanessa leads the Social Value and Equity capability across the ANZ region, which forms part of the Strategic Consulting business at Jacobs. This is a new role that has been established to build on the Jacobs Social Value BluePrint and fabulous work done by the team over the last four year. My focus is to operationalise the capability and amplify our impact by working with clients across key markets.

Vanessa leads the newly created Social Advisory and Research national service line at RPS, which forms part of the Advisory Division. Her role includes building a new team of social scientists, urban planners, and social procurement specialist to bring a multidisciplinary approach to creating, delivering and measuring social value. Vanessa has been growing and supporting clients across the Transport, Energy and Property sectors.Vanessa is also co-chair of the RPS Diversity, Equity & Inclusion pillar that includes supporting the LGBTQIA+ and Gender networks and implementing a social procurement approach across the business.

Vanessa led and mentored a highly engaged team of subject matter experts that oversaw both large-scale urban regeneration and construction projects across the United Kingdom. Projects included, Elephant Park estate renewal, International Quarter London (IQL), Euston overstation development and Birmingham Smithfield development. Areas of focus included developing shared value partnerships, community engagement and learning, skilling and employment initiatives that are critical to inclusive placemaking outcomes. Vanessa successfully championed a culture of social innovation as strategic lead and co-founder of The Loneliness Lab that brings together business, government and civil society to explore how we can design out loneliness in our cities.

Vanessa worked on the regeneration of Parramatta CBD, the capital of Western Sydney, Australia’s fastest growing urban population, home to 2+ million people and projected to reach 3 million by 2031. In a fast past political enviornment I project managed various city building projects that required a multidisciplinary approach. This included public domain upgrades, a city brand strategy and city activation strategy.

Vanessa was the inaugural Festival Manager, produced and managed by Fairfax. The Festival was supported by Events NSW with over 420 individual events across NSW. Vanessa project managed the Growers' Market at Pyrmont each month, Night Noodle Markets at Hyde Park and the World Chef Showcase at Star City. Vanessa established a community based program that encouraged and promoted councils and groups in Western Sydney to create their own food related event.

Co.As.It. Italian Association of Assistance is the largest ethno-specific charity in NSW. Vanessa's role was to promote and advocate for programs across the two key sectors, Education and Community Services. Working closely with a range of stakeholders to support the organisation core business, including local council, government agencies, business and other community groups.
