Since spring 2011 the Service Development unit had been tasked with the objective of transforming a paper based phone directory company into a modern day consultancy house offering wide variety of digital services in the area of digital online presence, marketing and sales. I joined the organisation as a Mobile Director to take charge of the mobile solutions area but soon took responsibility of the whole Service Development operation. In addition to Service Development for both B2C and B2B customers, the organisation was in charge of the Analytics&Research and Digital Channel Development operations.

Openbit developed license management and mobile payment solutions for smart phones with the leading handset manufacturers, teleoperators and mobile software vendors as its’ customers. In June 2008 Openbit Oy was acquired by Tanla Solutions Ltd, an Indian VAS and mobile payment company operating from Hyderabad India, and listed in India National stock exchange.As Vice President, Sales I led the following operations:- Tanla’s sales and business development in the “Mobile Payment and Services” division- Key strategic account management (Nokia, Sandisk, Symantec)- Country/Site manager for Tanla Oy in Finland (team of 16, in Espoo and Tampere)In the role I reported to the President of Tanla Solutions Ltd in India and was a member of the Tanla’s Executive Management team.

Heading a global games&services publishing team in Nokia’s Games Business Unit (part of Nokia Multimedia), with the responsibility and objective of creating a successful business line of high quality Nokia branded games for the Nokia N-Gage and N-series platforms. Additionally responsible of all Nokia N-Gage related co-op and business with the European games publishers to publish Nokia and 3rd party branded games on the Nokia N-Gage platform.- Main tasks: leading the Business Development, running SW Development and Marketing operations in 3 sites (Espoo, Vancouver and San Francisco) with line management and matrix team responsibilities of 36 persons.- Main achievements:o 14 games successfully published in 2 yearso 2 BAFTA awards (the British Academy of Film and Television Arts)o several “Best game of the year” awardso Nokia Quality Award 2005o Closed publishing co-operation deals with all major European games publishers

Hired by Nokia to plan, set-up and direct the mobile games operations of the Forum Nokia organi-sation.- With global presence through Forum Nokia’s regional organisations, my team was the central hub of all mobile games related requests from both the external games industry (game developers, publishers, middleware/tools providers, media, sales channel organisations) as well as from Nokia’s internal organisations.- In this role, and through the Forum Nokia’s services, my team participated in Nokia’s games related operations (S30, S40 and S60 smartphone embedded games, Nokia’s B2C channels, N-Gage operation) as well as in numerous game portal launches and operations with telecom operators, aggre-gators and independent channels worldwide (including Vodafone, Orange, Telefonica, ATT, Mforma, Jamba, Handy.de etc).- Over the 18 months more than 1000 mobile games from all over the world passed through our hands. In our Game Evaluation Service we tested and verified more than 700 of those.
