Part of the automation team for Oxy on OCRM projects.Develop and implementation of automation projects for upgrades and expansion of Oxy automation infrastructure. Successfully completion of 5 facilities upgrades and 20+ new wells.Maintain project schedule and generate all project related documentation and deliver to the Facilities project manager on time. Facilitate and lead remote engineering teams in the design of PLC programs and HMI for new wells and facilities upgrades.Constant communication with vendors, providers, Ops and all stakeholders to meet project specific requirements.Assist field personnel and resolving any type of automation problems and help evaluation of new Oil and Gas production/automation technologies.Automation support in PHAs and HAZOPs for new development following Oxy and Industry standards.

I've also worked in for Pulp and paper, chemichal plants and automotive industry projects for Fire Detection Systems.

I've also participated in a project at a thermal power plant (Central térmica Rio Turbio, Santa Cruz, Argentina) and a pulp and paper plant (Ledesma, Jujuy, Argentina).Software and Hardware are from Foxboro IA Series, Triconex and Wonderware.

I was assigned to the Automation and Special Projects Dpt (APRE). There, I participated in developing automation and process control projects for some of the production processes in the plant.I worked in a particular project where the goal was to replace the functioning motor drives of the process (D.C. and A.C drives) inside the continuous rolling mill (sequential process) of seamless tubes, with new technology drives (ABB's DCS800 and ACS800). I also worked on some of the continuous improvement projects for the Doppless coupling process and Thermal Treatment for the seamless tubes, using Unity Pro 5 XL for PLC Programming and Vijeo Designer for HMI Programming.

I was hired to participated on a project for ABB Argentina, the major objetive was the migration of the control routines from a DCS MOD300 to a new technology DCS AC800M, using the ABB's 800xA system.

As part of the Engineering Excellence Center (EEC) - Argentina, It was my responsibility to provide support in the development of engineering projects for the business units of Invensys Operations Management in North America, Latin America and Brazil, as well as some regional service offices. I was part of a team in charge of the development of the control routines for distributed control systems (DCS) and the design of the human-machine interface (HMI) of industrial process, using as a base documents the P & ID's and the control narratives. In the projects I participated in, we mainly used software tools for distributed control systems (DCS) of Foxboro: I/A Series. For the development of the control database, which was programmed using the functional block language (FBD), we used the I/A Series Configuration Component (IACC) or InFusion Enviroment Engineering (IEE) of Wonderware according to the version of software required. In the design of the human-machine interface (HMI) we used the design tool: FoxDraw and regarding t supervision and interaction with the process, the tool we used was: FoxView. Application areas included: Oil & Gas Industry, Chemical Industry, Food Industry, Pulp and Paper, among others.

In this job, I was responsible for technical advice, sales and support of equipment for industrial instrumentation used in low, medium and high scale industries. Also, I had the opportunity to learn more about the electronic operation of the equipment we were selling so that I could advice our customers better.
