About Vratislav Šlajer

Graduate of the production department of Prague FAMU. Producer with 25 years of experience in the field of TV, film and digital. Producing features, TV series, documentary, and animated films at Bionaut - the company he formed in 1999. Winner of the International Emmy Award for #martyisdead, Czech Lion and Czech Film Critics Award for the film Pouta (Walking Too Fast), and the Czech Lion for the TV series Mamon with HBO Europe and Svět pod hlavou (Shadow of the Ferns) with Czech TV. Member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, European Film Academy, Czech Film and Television Academy. Head of Czech Audiovisual Producers Association from 2017. In 2002 he was awarded the Producer on the Move at the Cannes Film Festival, and in the same year, he became a member of the prestigious ACE(Ateliers du Cinéma Europeén) network.
