As manager of the department, I retain some of my previous language-based responsibilities (translation, transcreation, proofreading, copywriting) while also taking care of the following:► Team management: recruitment, line management, team budgeting, resources allocation, reporting, creation of training materials, planning of team initiatives...► Vendor management: Working with our CAT tool provider, translation agencies, and freelancers, I make sure all services run smoothly and are cost-efficient without compromising on quality. ► Cross-functional collaboration: I work daily with different teams to unlock opportunities that will make our product and user experience better. I’m also a key stakeholder in the Spanish pod, which I’ve led for over 2 years.► Project Management: I project manage international, cross-functional initiatives, adapting our platform to our European markets, bringing Taskrabbit to our users in a way that is locally relevant.
