ancientonline.co.in, is an online platform for Indian handlooms and heritage fabrics. It is a women initiative to protect and promote weaving tradition and heritage of India which is famous for its colour, design craft, purity, authenticity and preciousness.Key responsibilities:• Collect traditional and trendy handloom fabrics directly from the weavers• Build a creative and organic relationship with traditional handloom clusters across India• Maintain effective communication with end users through various channels including social media• Update on current fashion and trends through all channels of media• Build associations with institutions like NIFD, NID to bring innovations in fabric design and upgradation of weavers

Worked primarily with the copy writing team, pitched in ideas for social media posts, did research on evolution of advertising and advertising strategies on brands such as Dove, Adidas, Rolls Royce etc

Internship with the Editorial wing of The Hindu. Worked primarily with the city transport beat and environment beat , covered press conferences, prepared reports, published bylines.

Assisted in the regular office affairs and outreach activities for under privileged children and palliative care units
