Leading a Finance team of seven people I was entirely responsible for the Accounting, Controlling and Finance of the company, acting as the right hand of the Chief Executive Officer to whom I reported. I would deal with every aspect and deadline for the areas of administration, treasury, tax and performance measurement. To monitor and review the cash flow of the company, of my own initiative, I designed and created a weekly forecasting report. On year-end I would be responsible for the preparation and drafting of the year-end statutory accounts (based on latest Italian accounting standards), issuing calendars and procedures to all the group’s functional departments. I would liaise and meet regularly with the external auditors to ensure compliance of the company’s internal control. Regularly I would meet and maintain good relationships with the company’ seven banking institutions, for which I would monitor the observance of the loans’ covenants and conditions. When requesting new grants or bank loans I would prepare a detailed Business Plans together with up-to-date financial accounts.
