Role’s & Responsibilities:• Design, develop and implement manufacturing processes, process control techniques, product changes, related fixture, tooling changes that drive zero defects and low product costs.• Proven experience in reading and interpreting complex mechanical, technical drawings.• Provide engineering and troubleshooting support to production and maintenance departments to resolve technical problems, equipment breakdowns, and drive process improvement.• Support operational improvement and cost reduction activities by providing technical expertise in process and manufacturing methods (i.e. Deform use to improve tooling life).• Ensure job data is accurately and thoroughly documented; maintain accurate files with regard to each job.• Monitoring and material handling of incoming orders from various suppliers i.e., record keeping of received orders, verification in SAP POE for PO, GRN, etc. & loading to inspection.• Derive the manufacturing routings of fixtures, gauges and special tools.• Manage technical vendor/ supplier relationship and performance.• Co-ordination with Inspection, Reporting manager & Suppliers for clearing the rejection including explaining the drawing and rework actions. -Analyze process engineering data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.-Provide technical support to other departments and personnel.-Monitor process engineering performance and recommend corrective actions.Measuring station breakdown:• Maintenance & troubleshooting of semi-automatic measuring stations.• Timely attending and restoring the pneumatic circuit measurement station breakdown in production area.• Conducting gauges capability study and take necessary actions to improve it.Additional Know-how gathered in BOSCH Ltd.• Use of various measuring instrument like, Trimos, Height Gauge, Micrometer, Vernier Caliper, etc.• Can refer and understand various types of tooling drawings

ROLE ‘S & RESPONSIBILITY:- Good understanding of jigs and fixtures with sound experience in planning, manufacturing, Fitting and maintenance.- Proficient in managing tool room operations involving design & development.- Good understanding of GD & T.- Process planning of jigs and fixtures, determining the bought out items and indent themagainst work orders.- Daily review of machining items and their quality.- Taking care of required IATF-16949 / TS activities.- Knowledge of SAP System and can handle SAP independently.- Scheduling the jobs depending upon capacity of the machines.- Giving workload to machinists.- Worked in environment of conventional machines like Surface Grinding, cylindricalgrinding, Milling machine, CNC lathe machines.- Continuous Follow ups of Supplier for raw material and Bought outs items related to Jigs& Fixtures.- Drawing reading activities and generated purchase requisition for the required items.- Continuous follow with purchase department regarding PO releasing status.- Update regular status of monthly plans Work Orders and review with Fixture Assembly and Machining Department.- Knowledge of overall Fixtures such as Machining Center Fixture, Milling Fixture, Averaging Fixture, Leakage Testing Fixture, Welding Fixture, Grinding Fixture,Hobbing Fixture, Holding Fixture.- Getting well along with the co-workers and accept supervision._ Hands on experience on various measuring instruments such as, Digital Height Gauge(Trimos),Micro-Meter,Sin-Bar,Bore Gauge,Bevel Protector,Vernier Caliper,Dial Gauge.- Know about different type of Heat Treatment process.- Knowledge of different type of material used in Jigs and Fixtures.

ROLE ‘S & RESPONSIBILITY:- Working as Design and Development Engineer- To make a design of the Fixtures and Gauges by Using AutoCAD and Catia V5 software’s.- Drawing provided to operator for manufacturing of Jigs/Fixtures and gauges.- Checking of all manufacturing parts by using standard checking instruments like dial venire caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, etc- Segregations of all material by work order wise and their drawing sheets in Turning, Milling, and grinding sections.- External Client Handling
