Master's from The Coventry School of Art and Design helped me hone the passion for creating my own concepts with professional guidance, in Brainstorming, Design Research Methods, sketching and modelling techniques in ALIAS. I started Ideating and answering the “whys” and thinking outside the box for the “why nots”. This was evidenced when one of my designs won THE MICHELIN CHALLENGE DESIGN 2013 and 2017.At TATA Motors, India I have had multiple opportunities to work on Exterior and Interior Projects. My capabilities were recognised at a very early stage and I was entrusted with multiple roles wherein I was required to Design and Model Products simultaneously. Having a designer’s perception to every problem has helped me minimize any communication gaps between the designer and myself and also in designing concepts directly in ALIAS and saving valuable time. My focus, time management and team working skills were highly appreciated with multiple Awards. This further motivates me to spearhead oncoming projects. My greatest attribute is that I am a fast learner, always hungry for ways to improve. The result; I was awarded the highest grades for my performance two years in a row.Judging my work to be at a significantly higher level I am now posted in the TATA Motors Design UK studio for Advanced concept work. The level of exposure to Advanced Design here has helped me write a completely new page in my level of skills and experience. My present target is to further expand my knowledge and passion by learning different cultures in Automotive Design outside of India. I believe that I can certainly bring the energy, commitment and creativity necessary to thrive in an innovative environment.
