Product / Market FIT ValidationWe built a prototype that became a first MVP of an Artificial Intelligence CRM that allowed us to earn 50k MRR. During the pandemic in 2020, we had to choose new customer segments to navigate the market chaos. Hard times to change the 4 tires of the car with it in motion.The product base supported by an elastic and fault-tolerant BIG DATA platform integrated with Artificial Intelligence algorithms allowed us to create a solution that processed tens of gigabytes daily to suggest, every day, for each salesperson, which customer to get in touch with the highest potential to sell.During this journey, our main mistake was to let the need for cash during the pandemic period take our focus. Focus is everything in building a new business. We managed to realign the plumb and focus on building the world's first CRM that aims to automating recurring sales processes through Artificial Intelligence.With that, we were able to reach 100k MRR and structure the product to seek scale of growth. We created a replicable sales model; so I hired a Sales Manager to lead the commercial area of the company.

I structured a Customer Success area from scratch. The literature that most impacted my decisions was the book by Lincoln Murphy (Customer Success). We designed the entire end-to-end value delivery flow, mapped the value delivery gaps, interacted with the product team to help prioritize new features, implemented customer portfolio monitoring processes that reduced the churn from 2.2% per month to 0.8% within 10 months.I hired a customer success manager to lead the area so that I could work on business growth activities.

Problem/Market FIT validation of new businessIn 2018, I led a series of business experiments to validate a potential new product that had as a value proposition: “Increase salespeople’s productivity and sales by suggesting every day which customer is most likely to buy”.The idea was to use Artificial intelligence to mathematically model a customer buying behavior suggesting everyday the right customer, at the right time to a salesperson to contact.I sold 5 projects generating 65k revenue. At this moment, I saw that in a market with 15k potential customers, we got a potential deal. The idea was sold, customer billed, and the product was delivered as a project. This experience was essential to generate requirements to the product development.We created a model to have a minimum of validation to invest full time in the development of the first version of the goVendas product.
