I am a registered architect in MA with twenty years practicing in Boston, as well as five years in Europe where I worked on the Meyer Children’s Hospital outside Florence, Italy, and the Royal Botanical Garden near the Prado Museum in Madrid, Spain. I am diligent in the thoroughness of design to the detail level, successfully delivered in scale, form, and function. I’m also interested in sustainable construction and community involvement.In 2010, having raised my then nine year old son alone 24/7 since 2003 when he was only 2, I decided it best to start his own practice called Cantus Circaeus; consulting as well as doing projects of my own. This gave me the ability to thrive professionally while practicing a variety of different approaches and building types. It has formed in me the open, flexible cooperation of a seasoned veteran, with thorough experience in most aspects of our work. I have continued to design while developing my skills in detailing. I can contribute design solutions that are more particular as well. I also enjoy being responsible for submittals, RFIs, and working with the CM/GC for coordination with consultants. Designing and detailing collaboratively as well as independently, I am able to coordinate construction documents while carefully assuring that the design intent is followed through in construction administration.​I received a BArch professional degree from Rhode Island School of Design and studied abroad in Vico Morcote, Switzerland. I am also LEED certified, and holds a Real Estate Salesperson and Construction Supervisor’s License in the Commonwealth. ​Outside of work you can find me playing guitar.
