I have more than 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, working with product development and manufacturing quality and process management, working with technical cross-functional teams in multicultural environments, such as Europe, Asia and South America. Nowadays, I am working as a design and release engineer in Ford Brazil with cost reduction actions for North America vehicles, leading product development, including the pre-concept and final design, trade negotiations with related suppliers, assembly feasibility and manufacturing analysis. Main Accomplishments in Ford: • Delivered virtual phases and FDJ of BX755 supposed to be EcoSport’s replacement for FSA, working close with manufacturing engineer, CAE, and CAD teams to meet the program requirements.• Participated the launch of B515MCA (New Ecosport) in Ford Brazil, China and India and B562 Europe (KA+), B562MCA (KA) South America leading crucial investigations for launch issues (AIMs), implementing interim containment actions and permanent corrective actions. • Leading the development of BIW capability for trailer hitch (tow bar) in B515MCA program for all regions (South America, Asia Pacific, Europe and North America) by managing product development, design validation in order to reach the loads target and also meet the program target on time. • Worked as VFG (vehicle functional group) leader of South America region for Water Management and Sheet Metal parts, being the leader of the regional team to improve FSA vehicles quality targets, tracking the investigation projects of failure modes with the purpose of finding the root cause and eliminate the problems.
