IPEA is a public federal research institute linked to the Ministry of Economy. I work as a researcher in the Directorate of Studies and Policies of the State, Institutions and Democracy (DIEST), currently in the project "Dynamics of Violence in Brazilian Municipalities", assigned to the states of Amazonas, Amapá and the Federal District. Activities include: (1) Collection and statistical analysis of data from various databases (SIM , Iamazon, for example); (2) Production of graphics and thematic maps (Excel, QGis, SPSS); (3) Collection of qualitative data (survey, questionnaires, semi-structured interviews), and analysis of documentary material (media, reports); (4) Elaboration, organization and publication of reports, articles, events, scientific publications of IPEA.

Aldeias Infantis SOS is one of the largest organizations acting in emergency situations involving children and adolescents who have lost or are at risk of losing parental care. I worked as a field researcher hired for the project “Situation and access to rights of children, adolescents and young people in alternative care in Brazil”.
