• Took over the leadership responsibilities of the test team for On-Demand Outbound service. Shipped multiple successful releases of On-Demand Outbound Service• Worked with TAMs and NoC to release a QFE based on a new high-priority requirement (SMS) from a customer. Hotmail is world’s largest Web based free email service, developed, tested, hosted and maintained by Microsoft Corporation.• Created test case automation framework using KAF and automated the test cases for various Windows Live Hotmail components – Web Messenger, Contacts, and Hotmail. Created automation and tested monitoring infrastructure for the product. • Worked as the PoC for Code Coverage for Windows Live Hotmail team. Responsibilities included – Setup infrastructure for instrumenting and collecting code coverage numbers, maintain code coverage standards for the team and help improve it.• Became one of the Drivers for releases from Test team. As part of this role, drove releases of multiple major versions as well as multiple Hotfixes and QFEs. • Worked on testing and qualifying the new release management system. Worked with PMs to identify the requirements for porting to new system. PrecisionTN is a large multi-tier java server consisting of about 1.4M lines of code and close to 6000 source files and being developed by an 8 person team.• Enhanced the framework to delete elements from the system which cannot be connected to anymore. Elements are deleted only after a user-defined number of attempts have been made to connect to the device(s). • Provided support for unmanaged entities and alarms/events originating from these entities. Included support for obfuscation of core configuration files and real time decryption based on private key infrastructure. • Implemented real time in process event enrichment to replace less efficient out of process technique.• Added new database support for Cloudscape RDBMS and DB2 to the product. This included designing database managers as well as adapters based on DAO pattern.• Added normalized RDBMS support to two previously non-integrated products.• Implemented device support for 18 TL1 devices and 3 ASCII-Interface devices.
