I'm a passionate freelance journalist, in love with photojournalism and blogging.I'm completely fluent in English and French and somewhat comfortable with Afrikaans. I worked one year as an intern at Pretoria News and three years as an in-depth reporter and columnist for Perdeby, the University of Pretoria's student newspaper. At Stellenbosch University, I worked at campus paper Die Matie as a photographer and was awarded the position of Photo Editor. I then commenced on a medley of Postgraduate studies that allowed me to explore Germany, Denmark and Australia, which allowed me to appreciate South Africa on both a personal and professional level.I am currently looking for work that will incorporate my writing, photography, video and maybe even design skills.Meanwhile, my blog keeps me busy in terms of bringing refreshing news that sees the positive in South African news; from anti-poaching campaigns to famous beggars.My articles can be adjusted to suit your publication.
