I was in charge of several development/exploratory assets along USA, Mexico and Peru. In Mexico we are starting the operations in the Blocks BG-02 and BG-03 in the Burgos Basin. In USA we are partners with Ensign Oil and Gas LLC in the unconventional reservoir Eagle Ford, in South Texas. We also have some operations in Colorado (DJ Basin, non-conventional reservoir), Oklahoma and Kansas. And I continue supervising the G&G activities on the Z1 Block in Peru. My main activities were:• Proposals for new drillings (oil/gas wells) and recompletions or workovers in existing wells.• Technical evaluation of areas for new acquisitions.• Interact with our partners in technical decisions.• Propose Exploration / Appraisal / Development plans to execute in the blocks owned by Newpek. • Recommend the acquisition/reprocessing of seismic data or any other kind of well information (electric logs, pressure data, etc.).• Run volumetric calculation to quantify the oil/gas reserves.• Interact with government authorities to comply with the regulatory contracts.

Lima, Perú

I worked as the Manager of the Subsurface and Geoscience team in BPZ E&P/Newpek LLC. I was the lead of a multidisciplinary team composed by production engineers, reservoir engineers and geologists.I was in charge of the development and future strategies of the Z1 Block in the Tumbes Basin, northern Peru. I was responsible for the geological model, define exploration and development strategies, interact with our partners and optimize the oil production of the oilfields.

Lima, Perú

I worked for BPZ Energy as the Geology Team Leader in Lima, Peru. I was responsible for the development of two offshore oilfields (Corvina and Albacora) located in Z1 Block. My main responsibilities included:• Leading the geology team.• Generate proposals for drilling new development and appraisal wells.• Generate proposals for the completion of new wells, propose recompletion of existing wells (workovers). • Conduct a sequence-stratigraphic model through well correlations to understand the stratigraphic arrangement and facies distribution of the reservoirs. • Petrophysical characterization and advanced well log analysis.• 2D-3D seismic interpretation (horizons, faults, simple attributes), generation of geological maps. • Integrate of all the available data and interpretations into a detailed 3D geocelullar model using Petrel. • Interact with reservoir engineers to obtain a trustable static / dynamic model to support the new drillings and manage the secondary recovery. • Propose strategies for gas and water injection. • Gas / Oil volume calculation, interaction with reserve auditors. • Identify and study of exploratory prospects, proposals for exploratory wells and development of new oilfields. • Mentoring Junior Professionals

I worked in the Exploration and Exploitation Department in Apache Corp. as a Sr. Geologist, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was in charge of three blocks in Neuquen Basin. My main duties in Apache were: generation of new prospects for drilling exploratory, appraisal and development wells and found new wells for recompletions and workovers. I was also in charge of the 3D geological model in Petrel of La Sara oil field in Austral Basin.

Tunisia, Libya

I worked in Data and Consulting Services (DCS) as an International Mobile Employee, based in Tripoli, Lybia. I had to build 3D geological modeling using Petrel software to get a statistic model. I worked in Tunisia for an ENI project and in Libya for a project of AGOCO.

Río Gallegos, Argentina

I worked in Magallanes and Poseidon, two offshore oil fields in the Austral Basin, Southern Argentina. I had to build the 3D geocellular model including seismic data, petrophysic intepretations, core analysis and geological maps to propose the development plan for these fields.

Neuquén, Argentina

My main responsibilities were in the Medanito 25 de Mayo oilfield in the Neuquen basin as a development geologist. I created the first 3D geological modeling of the field, I made well correlations, seismic interpretation, standardization of electrical logs, facies modeling and petrophysical interpretation. I actively participated with a multidisciplinary team in the development of the oilfield by proposing development and appraisal wells . I also worked in the optimization of the secondary recovery by improving the water injection. During my first years in the company, I worked in the Austral Basin as a Field Geologist, assisting field operations (well drilling, information acquisition -electric logs-, well site geologist, mud logging).
