Presently with a leading premium foods company which is known for its flagship brand Leonardo Olive Oil, I am heading entire supply chain management for India business with a team of 8 members. Here I oversee strategic sourcing, spend reduction & demand, cost improvement, business model & process redesign and service delivery model at all 5 C&FA and 22 CSA locations.Here I am accounting for both primary & secondary distribution of all products, strategic analysis, planning & development of supply chain & inventory management, establishment & management of inbound & outbound logistics, planning & implementation of strong distribution strategies pan India, setting up of warehouses & managing multi-site warehousing activities, scheme finalization on all products for retail, institutional & modern trade outlets, functional audit at all locations Pan India and C&FA Management including identification, selection, negotiation, cost-effective solutions, supervision of operations and C&FA staffs development.

Here I joined one of the largest and most respected direct marketing companies in the world, with distribution in 12 countries.Here I oversaw the end-to-end supply chain function, inventory management, replenishment & distribution of finished goods, including planning, analysis, review & control through online monitoring and updates of inventory management system. Besides I devised efficient logistics management system to ensure consistent delivery of finished goods & services as per committed timelines & cost along with meeting agreed SLAs in respect to receipt of inventory, warehousing, dispatches and deliveries.Moreover I handled kit assembly planning & execution, SOP development, warehouse infrastructure planning, fulfillment & productivity along with order processing and last mile delivery of customer orders through courier companies & India Post.

Having gained hands on relevant exposure, here I coordinated with regional teams and marketing department for managing end-to-end supply chain for cost-effective supply chain services & solutions at national level. Established commercial operations for India from inception and set-up 25 stores across the country along with managing mother warehouses & regional distribution centers.Moreover I oversaw gamut of tasks, including finalization of new location, CFA appointment, setting up new warehousing facilities, manpower, IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations; also devised & executed distribution strategies & supply chain policies on business plan and import of finished goods and customs clearance.

It is one of the world’s largest direct selling companies operating in more than 80 countries and territories on six continents.Manager – Distribution- Joined the organization from inception and managed inventory worth INR 120 Cr at national level, with a team of 26 people including 6 direct reports- Led Inventory accounting in IT enabled systems for 5 business lines viz Home care, cosmetics, nutrition & wellness, personal care, catalogue & co branded products for 2000+ SKUs- Integrated supply chain inventory information & physical distribution activities with manufacturing planning & control system by DRP (distribution requirement planning) ensuring 100% control over inventory- Established RMW operations for 90,000 sq. feet area in a span of 2 months - Recommended liquidation of damaged stocks, as a member of quality improvement team (QIT) which helped in generating revenue for the organization- Oversaw 5 manufacturing units, vendors, 1 national distribution centre, 4 RMWs and 94 locations using ERP system, to ensure timely movement of material across country- Delivered savings of INR 30 lakhs per month through various cost effective strategies in vendor management including localization - Brought down inventory to 90 days in FY 2008 as against 136 days in FY 2006 and ensuring timely delivery as per monthly sales and operations plan - Reduced damages of total inventory value to 1.25% from 4% in FY06 by implementing best practices viz. FICI, Blind count, Stacking norms, at all depots/ RMWs/ NDCs & C&FAs- Saved INR 7 lakhs annually and enhanced productivity by 20% through restructuring layout of mother warehouse - Managed planning and budgeting activities for warehouse space and transportation and operations at national distribution center (NDC)
