I have spent 20 years in digital - developing digital products, applications and websites, launching new business units, building and growing teams and seeing it both from the side of startups and the world’s largest enterprises. I have cultivated a range of capabilities, from project management and operations to product and UX, with a dose of strategy, BD and marketing thrown in for good measure. This journey has made me versatile, resilient and able to handle pretty much any unexpected challenge.I have developed a core skill of putting teams and systems in place to deliver success in highly dynamic environments. I have a knack for establishing groups that are both high-performance and harmonious, and nurturing talent to reach their full potential. I actually like the process and operational details that many find arduous, and evolving and adapting to the fast-changing needs of rapidly growing businesses. I also tend to pick up and own things, some more fun than others, that just have to get done by someone.I have an international background, so I enjoy interacting with a diverse group of people that have a wide outlook and don't mind helping me practice a few languages I picked up along the way. I can translate effectively between those who 'speak' tech vs. business, or baseball vs. cricket, getting everyone on the same page to hit it out of the park. I believe that fairness, consistency, humanity and integrity in your dealings with others and leadership by example are the keys to success .
