• Perform the overall coordination and integration of technical activities in engineering projects and services related to photovoltaic (PV) design and optimization to the point of inverter and associated design integration. • Leading PV design, modeling, and optimization.• Assure projects are designed and constructed in compliance with all applicable safety standards including NESC, NEC, and NFPA.• Collaborate with other engineering firms and divisions to develop designs from an RFP stage to IFC.• Develop, integrate and implement design and engineering policies, standards and procedures for the market of engineering and technical work.• Responsible for generation of conceptual or design documents for the estimating team.• Develop design alternative and value engineering to determine cost effective solution.• Performs in-depth project constuctability assessments.

•Design residential/commercial/utility photovoltaic solar system that meet NEC and state codes.•Develop solar photovoltaic site plan, electrical single and three line diagram, & string details drawings.•Produce documentation for residential and commercial permitting per jurisdictions. •Assist project managers on bid documents, quotes, and procurement. •Develop 3D model of the solar PV site using SketchUp.•Perform shade analysis.•Analyze future project cost ($/watt) based on previous labor, material, and project cost. •Perform takeoff and estimate cost of solar photovoltaic systems.•Create an annual estimated production report on the solar PV system using PVSyst.•Obtain and negotiate quotes from vendors.•Verify that operations and maintenance (O&M) documentation left on-site is complete.•Verify solar PV plant performance and SCADA information.

•Work with the materials management functions on projects designed to reduced manufacturing costs and increase production efficiency.•Responsible for the conceptual and detail design of capacity improvements, quality improvement projects, cost savings projects and the selection of capital goods.•Manage the tooling projects from new product development to product launch.•Ensure the proper utilization and training of Engineering Interns and Co-Ops.•Perform management presentations for capital plans and capacity plans•Perform time and motion study for ongoing process improvement.•Procure new machinery in conjunction with senior management•Manage and develop company safety regulation that satisfies OSHA standard.•Troubleshoot and prevent breakdown of milling and fabric welding machines•Develop standard operating procedure for engineering change order and quality control.

•Create new/improve parts for the rebar machines.•Updating and change old prints.•Generate soft copies from hard copies.
