I am a cultural scholar with a passion for all things writing, literature, and arts. I received tenure as a professor of Literary Arts and Studies at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. I am also the cofounder of MinEastry of Postcollapse Art and Culture, an independently run art/research space, with Ilknur Demirkoparan based in Zurich, Switzerland.I have extensive experience teaching and writing in Comparative Literature, Film and Media Studies, and interdisciplinary courses in the Humanities across liberal arts colleges and research universities in the USA and Turkey. I have additional experience in university writing program administration, including five years of service as writing center director.
