Thai-Hoc Vu was born in PhuGiao, Binh Duong, Vietnam, in 1995. He received the B.S. degree in Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (Ho Chi Minh campus), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2018. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering, University of Ulsan (UOU), Republic of Korea. Before joining UOU, he was a Research and Development Engineer with the Research and Development, Strategy Department, Saigontourist Cable Television Company Limited, Ho Chi Minh City.Thai-Hoc has authored or co-authored more than 12 transactions, 15 journals, and 7 flagship conference papers. He was a recipient of the IEEE ICCE Best Paper Student Award in 2022 and the Vietnamese Young Scientists in Korea Award from the Vietnamese Students Association in Korea (VSAK) and the Vietnam Embassy in the Republic of Korea. He acts as a reviewer for major international transactions (i.e., IEEE TWC, IEEE TCOM, IEEE TVT, IEEE TCCN, IEEE TSIPN), journals (e.g., IEEE WCM, IEEE IoT, IEEE WCL, and IEEE CL), and flagship conferences, such as IEE ICC, IEEE VTC, IEEE ATC, and IEEE SSP. His research interests lie in the areas of wireless communications, communication theory, new radio access, and machine learning for future wireless communication.
