I am a seasoned business leader with 18 years experience in executive leadership positions with a focus on leading operations, finance, business strategy and business development.I am currently the COO & CFO at consumer packaged goods (CPG) company, Naturaz Inc. We are a clean health and beauty company that formulates, manufactures, and sells 100% vegan hair care products for curly, textured hair. I lead business strategy, operations, sales, marketing and finance.Prior to my tenure at Naturaz, I served as Executive Chairman at the Sub-Saharan Africa Chamber of Commerce where I played a central role in developing a strategic roadmap for the Chamber, establishing economic development strategies, forming partnerships, fundraising, facilitating key negotiations, and leading international trade mission delegations. Prior to joining the Chamber, I led sales and distribution organizations in the United States Mid-West, Mid-Atlantic and Caribbean for a multi-national company. I led global finance teams with operations in the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Mexico and Australia. I have developed a wealth of experience in turning organizations around, accelerating growth, expanding market access and delivering operational efficiencies. I am a frequent keynote speaker and advisor on entrepreneurship, management, international business development, foreign direct investment and economic development. I have presented to such varied audiences as the World Bank, BBC World News, Global Diaspora Forum, White House Entrepreneurship Forum, Johns Hopkins University, MIT, UPenn, World Trade Center, and more. I am an avid advocate for health and economic empowerment around the world.I have a Bachelors degree in Architecture from Oberlin College with a concentration in Economics.
