I am studying self-shaping and tissue morphogenesis mechanisms. Comparing experiments and theory we are exploring the fundamental laws of physics governing organization of multicellular ensembles across different types of living cells.My lab is developing novel techniques to measure and control organisation of multicellular structures. Our experiments rely on microscopy, microfabricated environments and image analysis algorithms.

Our instruments allow the formation and characterization of micron-sized single ice crystals, determination of melting and freezing points of an aqueous solution using nanoliter droplets, ice nucleation and re-crystallization assays and beyond.

Developing automated microscopy systems for microfluidics based diagnosis of blood. Responsibilities: R&D strategy, Physical modeling. Optomechanical design, Vision algorithmics.
