I have been a member of the Center for Educator Preparation and taken a handful of courses which will allow me to obtain my teaching licensure. Some of these courses have included classroom time with middle school and high school students in Poudre School District. In Fall 2017 after studying abroad (Spring 2018), I worked with high school students twice a week in another practicum at Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, CO. In Fall 2017 (previous school year), I had a practicum class where I spent about 3 hours a week with an 8th grade social studies class at Webber Middle School. The year prior, I spent about an hour a week with a small group of 6th graders from an English class at Preston Middle School. As a work leader, my responsibilities were to help train new employees at Braiden Dining Center in their work stations and facilitate smooth work flow. Since I am ServSafe certified, I also checked Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) temperatures and promoted food safety.
