I was elected to serve as AAPA representative to represent my PA program, MUSC, at a national level. I acted as a messenger between the events and current news of the PA profession nationally to the students in my program and vice versa. I also organize for the students in my PA program to attend the AAPA conference annually by working out the logistics.

I am participating in a rural initiative by South Carolina to serve my future patients better and point them towards resources that make health care more economical and feasible. I am going above and beyond to educate myself on topics from opioid overdose to women’s health to serve my future patients better. As a part of this government-funded program, I.
