Steered a complete redesign and reimplementation of a bank's EDW from scratch, leveraging MPP architecture with GreenPlum. As project lead, I handled an end-to-end solution that encompassed hardware and cluster architecture selection, development of a new ELT framework, migration of tens of terabytes of data from Oracle to GreenPlum, and implementation of logging, monitoring, and CI/CD solutions. By speeding up load jobs by 4 times, my efforts significantly improved the DWH user experience, ensuring early data availability, and reducing query execution and report building times.

As a member of the Data Engineering team within the Customer Care tribe, I played an instrumental role in enhancing the existing Data Warehouse solution. I took the initiative to improve automation and overall robustness by developing scripts for large-scale automated IPC workflows editing, status monitoring, password management, non-intrusive vacuuming of DWH tables, automated metadata management and more. My efforts resulted in significant time savings for developers, reduced pipeline failures, and fewer reported issues. The tech stack I used included GreenPlum, Oracle, Teradata, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, flat files, API endpoints, Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, PL/pgSQL, Python and Bash.

As the sole data expert in the organization, I was responsible for designing and developing the company's data warehouse (DWH), ETL system, and data visualization from the ground up. I successfully provided comprehensive, automated end-to-end data solutions tailored to a diverse range of stakeholders, such as sales and marketing teams and top management. Utilizing a tech stack consisting of PostgreSQL, Talend, Tableau, Python, and Bash, I contributed to data-driven decision-making and helped enhance the overall efficiency within the company.
