W. Brian Walsh is a seasoned entrepreneur with nearly three decades of notable experience in fundraising, marketing and FinTech for many high-profile organizations. Brian’s creative problem-solving approach has resulted in successful businesses that have had a major impact on the markets they serve. Walsh has been a presenter and speaker multiple times on topics that include philanthropy, marketing, and financial technology. Brian’s business experience includes serving as principal of Warfield & Walsh, recognized as one of the top boutique direct marketing fundraising agencies in the country. In addition to serving as the Chief Operating Officer for the agency, Brian has helped oversee strategic planning, creative and analysis for many blue-chip non-profit, advocacy and religious clients. Brian is the founder of Faith Direct, Inc. Faith Direct is the pioneering online giving program for Catholic parishes in 100+ Dioceses throughout the United States. Under Brian’s direction, Faith Direct raised over one Billion dollars for the Church and deserves credit for disrupting a collection system that had been in place for over fifty years. He retired from Faith Direct after it was acquired by Ministry Brands in early 2018. Walsh’s latest venture TipYo Inc., is revolutionizing gratuities for the hospitality industry. Together with our nearly 15 years of financial payments expertise, Brian is bringing together great minds and experience in FinTech, Marketing and Hospitality to make TipYo synonymous with tipping; market reaction from guests, hotels and employees has been very favorable. Brian is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Catholic University’s Ciocca Center for Entrepreneurship. He started the VentureLab@Catholic U, a incubator program for student startup businesses; he also teaches a Business Growth Lab course. Walsh has been active in local Alexandria (VA) community sports programs, volunteers weekly for Prison Ministry at the Alexandria Detention Center and is a Board Member for Watts of Love; a global nonprofit that brings solar light to the poor around the world. Brian also is an advisor to Givr, an innovative non-profit helping the homelessness community. He and his wife Kara have four children.
