The end result of this project is intended to be a system monitor that will also email/sms notifications to crew members as well as provide a visual cue on the map. Full Stack.As well I am comfortable with field work and am currently charged with maintaining a wireless mesh network and associated equipment that allows Fire Vehicles to preempt intersections along their path to the incident. Riding Code 3 during testing is awesome !Always interested in a new idea or a new way of optimizing an old paradigm.Intensely interested in following the Path Of Technology.STRENGTHS- Linux OS for _many_ years. Sysadmin level. PuTTY and Vi.- Standard C - procedural programming.- Client/Server- Can build a LAMP server and use it. i.e. JavaScript, MySQL, PHP and HTML/CSS/Bootstrap/AJAX.- Wireless and Wired Network deployment, subnetting and troubleshooting.- Enterprise firewalls, access policie, etc. Latest experience with SonicWall TZ400 - CAD and SVG artwork.- Manual wiring and soldering, crimping up an RJ45- TCL/TK. Wrote a UI that is used North America wide for configuring intersections, currently in use.- Intermediate knowledge of electronics and interfacing. I love a good SDK.- Knowledge of 802.11 packet structure and methods for capturing and analyzing WiFi traffic.- Interested in Contract projects that afford a greater degree of remoting.
