The CLL ensures the overall integration of the RDs efforts with the Office of the Chief of the Army Reserve (OCAR), develops comprehensive congressional engagement approaches for issues with the RDs AO.CLL monitors political and strategic federal legislation status and process in order to maintain Command Situational Awareness and identify any potential 81st RD impactsCLL directly liaison with U.S. Congressional district offices, U.S. Senators State offices, states National Guard Headquarters, federal Emergency management Agency (FEMA) counterpart, state Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officers (EPLO), and appropriate counterparts at all major military facilities in the 81st RD AO.
