Angular DeveloperHartford Mar 2024 - Jun 2024It was a short project. I was brought in to refactor an application.Responsibilities:· Currently Angular 16 is the version in use to develop web pages for Vanguard. The very first version of Angular I used was Angular 7. I've used all the versions after that.· Bootstrap and Angular Material have been used for styles.· RxJS is part of Angular. We need to import Observables from it. I use it every day.· SASS/SCSS has been used.· Used reactive extensions especially Observables for asynchronously calling the server and mapping the data to the required format.· @Input and @Output decorators have been used for communication between child and parent components. Now I have used Subject more than @Output to transfer data across the entire project.· Angular Lifecycle Hooks including ngOnInit(), ngOnChanges(), ngAfterViewInit(), and ngOnDestroy() have been used.· Angular built-in directives such as ngModel were used to perform two-way data binding between views and components.· ngIf, ngClass, and ngSwitch have been used to manipulate DOM objects.· Authentication/authorization functionality, Router and Route Guard features have been used.· Git Repository was used as version control for code repository.· Stencil has also been used to develop pockets of web pages.
