Prepares reports and records for the senior management team, evaluates current procedures, practices and precedents for accomplishing Illumina’s activities and functions relative to security and identifies and resolves security related problems. Develops and implements alternative methods for security operation improvement and directs activities within the security area; prepares periodic budget estimates and reports. Develops preventative security programs, including the oversight of security personnel and performs audits of security related performance and conducts physical surveys of premise security, including security equipment condition. Conducts and prepares reports relating to internal investigations of any losses or violations of regulations, policies and procedures. and leads the investigation of any losses or claims in collaboration with Risk Management, Legal, and Human ResourcesDesigns, integrates, and sustains Illumina’s global physical security infrastructure and develops, implements and manages relevant global security training. Assists in preparation of emergency management and contingency planning and serves as Illumina’s senior liaison with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies as it relates to security at Illumina’s facilities and/or Illumina’s employees.
