Optimized the production floor to simplify workflow and minimize waste. Designed and implemented work procedures, flow charts, and safety guidelines. Designed and manufactured efficient workspaces and jigs for many different operations and applications. Established relationships with new vendors, purchased needed materials, services, capital equipment, and tooling. Trained employees in the set up and maintenance of equipment such as metal shears, press brakes, single station punch presses, hardware inserters, and saws. Interviewed and assisted in the hiring of new shop personnel.
