We will help you manage the non-legal issues raised by transitioning from hospital care, to rehabilitive care, and then care in the home or care in a facility. Elder law is a collaborative, relationship-based process, not a transaction for documents. The elder law services we provide are: individual and married couple applications for Long Term Care Medicaid, protection of assets and income, and estate planning services: wills, trusts, durable power of attorney, advanced healthcare directive, and HIPAA release. The benefit to you is that you can afford the care that you need without going broke, the necessity of filing for guardianship is avoided, and there may be assets left over for your children to inherit.
