I was responsible for all of the Land Use (Zoning Enforcement) and Planning functions for Yavapai County. I had a staff of 12 professional staff members covering an area the size of New Jersey. My team presents cases to the Board of Adjustment, Planning Commission as well as Board of Supervisors as well as investigating and prosecuting zoning violations with an administrative hearing officer. I do significant community outreach with neighborhood groups for both current applications as well as zoning ordinance amendments, use permits and zoning map changes.
