Area Manager leading a world class team responsible for entertainment design and development as well as fabrication, restoration, and maintenance of props, costumes, photo locations, and many more. I manage a team of over 50 of the worlds best artisans with skills ranging from floral, carpentry, and paint, to seamstresses, mold makers and a grand format print devision. Under my direction we have also implemented a new additive manufacturing operation and a 3D print studio.

As the Technical Director for Scenic Fabrication I was to oversee the construction of props and scenery and ensure standards were being met. I would assist other Technical Directors in their design process and work with Art Directors to ensure the final pieces looked and functioned as desired but met Disney's strict safety standards. I would also work with Producers and Project Managers to ensure we were doing the most cost effective manner possible while maintaining all of the above.I worked with many artisans including carpenters, painters, mold makers, prop creators, grand format sign printing, as well as seamstresses and florists.

In my short role as Associate Technical Director I was tasked with the responsibility of completing a "Festival Season" (Festival of Holidays, Lunar New Year, and Food and Wine) reporting to a Senior Technical Director. During that time, I was also scouted by another department within the resort and was offered a position. I accepted with the caveat that I could complete the season. That offer was accepted but my season was cut short by the pandemic and I moved over to Entertainment Development, Scenic Fabrication during the pandemic.

As an Assistant Technical Director, I collaborated with multiple Technical Directors, each responsible for distinct projects, providing various forms of support.My responsibilities included scheduling labor, creating timelines and calculating milestone dates, working with safety guidelines and producing hazard analysis documentation. I liaised with vendors and partners to ensure projects were on track and fulfilled any other administrative and supportive roles required by my superiors.During my tenure as Assistant Technical Director, I contributed to the launch of several projects in honor of Disneyland's 60th anniversary celebrations. This included setting up photo locations and organizing the Diamond Mad T Celebration, a live music show at the Hollywood Backlot area of California Adventure. Additionally, I worked on the Frozen Live Stage Show at the Hyperion Theater and helped revive the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival in 2015. This effort led to various iterations of crossover activations of Food and Entertainment.As part of my work with the Disney Culinary team, I gained invaluable knowledge about food preparation and service from a health safety perspective. I supported both culinary and internal food safety teams, prepared and responded to issues brought up by county health experts, and maintained banquet equipment and beer and wine service equipment while adhering to strict health and safety regulations.

As a stage technician, I fulfilled various responsibilities such as serving as a general stage hand for special events, daily show operations, and entertainment maintenance across multiple systems. My extensive experience included working as a Lead, Foreman, Master Electrician, and Trainer. Proficient in forklift operation, I am skilled in operating warehouse sit and stand, rough terrain, tele-handler or shooting boom forks, scissor and boom lifts, as well as driving large vehicles. In fact, I was a trainer for Disney, teaching the operation of the aforementioned heavy equipment.Furthermore, my role also involved collaborating with our Broadcast and TV department as a grip, electrician, and fiber transmission technician. I assisted the team in managing integration between park locations and transcontinental fiber patch locations, as well as broadcast satellite trucks.
