I retired as Vice President, OMNIA Partners. OMNIA Partners was established through a collaborative effort of public agencies across the United States with the specific purpose of reducing procurement costs by leveraging group volume. OMNIA Partners aggregates purchasing volume of participating public agencies across the country in order to receive larger volume discounts from suppliers. There are over 80,000 public agencies and non-profit organizations that participate in the OMNIA Partners cooperative contracting program.Prior to joining OMNIA Partners , my career was in Public Procurement, including a combined 26 years as Director of Procurement for the State of Arizona and City of Tucson. I also developed and marketed the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement (AEP) Award program and served as the AEP Chairperson for its first twelve years.
