I am currently a Director of Enterprise Computing at Morgan Stanley, managing Web Infrastructure Operations. • Managed a global team of 8 members, providing 24x7 follow the sun L3 operational support of the Web Infrastructure• Managed multiple global projects providing technical direction. Provided feedback to engineering teams and lower support teams to improve system support and functionality. • Managed Global F5 LTM /GTM and A10 Load Balancers. Supported firm wide 100K+ virtuals and 500+ load balancers. Environments included DMZ, Intranet, Tradeplanr, SETI, DiD, and CloudDMZ using AWS.• Managed Global migrations from F5 to A10, EOL F5 to F5 and A10 to F5 load balancers. All required integration and coordination within all teams. Scripts were created to automate the migrations. • Managed tooling used to allow self-service and management of user applications.• Created Splunk dashboards with views into health of load balancer environments. Alerts were created using these graphs.• Created documentation that provided clear instructions to level 2 for implementation of daily tasks, day to day operations, and escalations.• Provided feedback to level 2 team members with training and mentoring until efficiency was achieved. Their operational runbooks were updated on a daily basis to increase their productivity.

• Managed Enterprise Application Team - DNS, DHCP, Web Proxy, Hardware monitoring. • Managed DNS for Wealth Management using BIND DNS. This included public facing and internal zones. • Managed DHCP infrastructure for all 500 WM branch offices. Utilized SafeDHCP white-listing, which prevented unknown and rogue computers form accessing corporate network. Designed and developed website for Desktop support to add/delete MAC addresses. • Implemented Websense Reporting Tools which provides internet filtering and auditing for over 20,000 users. This tool enhanced our reporting infrastructure and proxy log review for internet activity. • Collaborated with Legal Department by researching and reporting user web activity. Testified in litigation for firm regarding user web activity. • Responded to IDS (Intrusion Detection System) alerts regarding suspicious internet traffic. Developed procedure to retrieve and review web proxy logs which would detect culprit workstations. • Investigated suspect desktops to review user’s web activity, installed programs, and noncompliant use of company hardware. This was executed to assess the level of no business use of desktops.• Created filtering to monitor hardware level, O/S level, and environmental level (temperature, voltage, etc.). Managed Load balancers which provide users with quicker responses, and designed solutions to global load balancing issues.

• Provided support for firm wide Bluecoat proxies, F5 LTM and GTM load balancers, PAC file integration. Interfaced with users to determine issues and developed resolutions with the collected information.• Designed, developed and implemented new proxy infrastructure to support migrations of over 40K users. Provided level 3 EI operations support and maintenance to resolve users’ issues with external, internal, and extranet sites. • Developed integrated PAC file for transition of MSSB and LSB users to new infrastructure.

• Responsible for 250 Windows 95/NT user environment, which consisted of NT 4 Servers, Novell 4.2 Servers, MS Exchange servers, SMTP Gateway, Cisco 2500 Routers, and CheckPoint Firewall-1.• Installed NT Servers for SQL database applications. Installed and configured Remote Access Cards on all critical servers. • Managed all hardware and software issues related to servers, workstations, including troubleshooting connectivity issues.• Planned, implemented, and documented strategy to bring all hardware and software to Y2K standard.

• Working for Citi, I analyzed, documented, and implemented network design improvements using Cisco Series 3500XL switches and 3COM SmartStack 1000 switches. Implemented dedicated bandwidth on all ports to increase utilization and performance of network.

• Administered a 500-600 NT 4 workstation environment that consisted of 3 NT Domains and Novell Bindery/NDS servers. Supervised 2 LAN Administrators and 5 technicians in day-to-day operations, which involved planning workstation and server platforms, and supporting software and hardware related issues.• Migration of 350 to Novel NDS tree. This involved migration of user file shares, printer shares, and related security ACL’s. Developed scripts to modify workstation login servers, which created single sign-on environment.
