I have always wanted to become the President of the Philippines (check out my HS and college yearbooks for reference). It is rooted on my self-imposed mission to be of service to my fellow countrymen. But years after I first dreamed of being THE prezzy, I realized that I might be destined for something else.Marketing has always been my passion. For me, marketing is everything. From product development up to distribution, remarkable strategies are always rooted from good management of the marketing mix. Using this passion to pursue my mission in life, I co-founded Gugu - a social enterprise that utilizes traditionally handwoven textiles into contemporary fashion pieces. Since we began formal operations in 2015, our weaving community partners have grown and we now have community partners from two provinces. As a result of our work, Gugu has been featured in various publications such as the Entrepreneur Magazine, Spot.ph, and Metro Society Magazine. We have also worked with various organizations such as NGCP and the Office of the Vice President, to help push our advocacy forward and provide opportunities for our community partners. I've always been very proud of what Gugu has become and I'm excited to see what else we can do to further our cause.I am now the President and CEO of Kildekode, Inc., makers of the Harvees Mobile App. Our vision is to utilize technology in creating various social innovations that help improve the planet and its inhabitants. Yes, we're crazy. As its chief marketer, I am responsible for all of its marketing magic, from copywriting to media representations.So the key takeaway from this is that you do not have to be president to have a positive impact to the society.
