Recognized for four out of the last five years as one of Oklahoma City's fastest growing businesses and one of Oklahoma's "Best Places to Work" OAA has created over 250 insurance agencies from scratch. Caldwell is also Chairman of the Board of Prism Bank a community bank with branches in Guthrie, Norman, Edmond and Mulhall, Oklahoma and a loan production office in Oklahoma City. A business and insurance industry thought leader, Caldwell speaks on insurance issues and publishes "Growth Agent Insight", a blog on topics related to growing entrepreneurial businesses (http://oaaonline.net/category/growth-agent-insight) and a podcast "UnCaptive Agent". Tony has recently published a new book "UnCaptive Agent" now an Amazon Best Seller and Number #1 New Release and has cowritten "COVIDProof Your Agency". Former Chairman and board member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Oklahoma Tony is deeply committed to community service which includes:- Oklahoma House of Representatives, elected in 1992 and served two terms- Former Chairman, It’s My Community Initiative, Inc. a nonprofit working with disadvantaged individuals in Oklahoma City.- Former Chairman, Oklahoma Board of Juvenile Affairs, appointed by Governor Mary Fallin.- Former Vice Chairman, Board of Corrections, appointed by Governor Frank Keating.- Previous service on the boards of or as an officer for Salvation Army, Last Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Rotary Club of Oklahoma City #29, FUMC of OKC Trustees, Boys and Girls Clubs of OKC, Engineers Flying Club and PWA, Inc. Caldwell received his BA in Government from Centenary College of Louisiana in 1980 and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.An active outdoorsman and avid instrument rated commercial pilot Caldwell is married to Sharon Caldwell and they have two sons. The Caldwell's are members of Crossings Community Church.
